HEP Action takes election reform from idea to reality. We fight to make it easy to vote, and hard to cheat. Americans overwhelmingly want strong safeguards that protect their ballots and build trust in the voting process. HEP Action makes sure that lawmakers listen. We work with state and federal lawmakers, conservative activists, influencers, and policy experts to advance sound policies that strengthen our democracy, build voter trust, preserve fair elections.

Jason Snead is the executive director of HEP Action. Jason is a recognized expert on election reform and voting policy. Prior to his current role, Jason was a senior policy analyst in the Edwin Meese III Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at The Heritage Foundation, where he focused on a range of issues, including election security and integrity. Jason also helped to develop and manage the Heritage Election Fraud database, a unique tool documenting proven instances of fraud. Jason holds a master’s degree in public policy from George Mason University’s Schar School of Policy and Government.
