Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:
“Honest Elections Project Action applauds Indiana lawmakers for improving election integrity by requiring identification information to request a mail-in ballot. Voter ID laws are overwhelmingly popular among the American people, boasting 84% approval. Bringing the safeguards of voter ID to the mail voting system is a best practice being adopted by states across the country. Congratulations to Indiana lawmakers for passing legislation making it easy to vote and hard to cheat. I hope Governor Holcomb signs this bill into law.”
