Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:
“Honest Elections Project Action urges the Missouri Senate to follow the state House’s lead by taking up and passing HJR 66, a measure to place a constitutional amendment on the ballot banning ranked-choice voting (RCV) and non-citizen voting. RCV is a complicated and confusing process promoted by left-wing dark money groups that can even disenfranchise voters in automatic runoffs.
“Unsurprisingly, less than 9% of Americans believe non-citizens should be able to vote. Passage of this resolution would take Missouri one step closer to secure and transparent elections where it is easy to vote but hard to cheat.”
