“Congratulations to Governor DeWine and the Ohio legislature for passing crucial legislation to ban the foreign funding of ballot issue campaigns. Ohio has been at the forefront of the fight against foreign money in domestic politics after the state was peppered with over $14 million of funds tied to Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss. More states should follow Ohio’s lead and pass legislation to ban foreign influence in our elections.”
