“Honest Elections Project Action applauds the Utah Senate Government Operations and Political Subdivisions Committee for blocking legislation that would extend Utah’s ranked-choice voting pilot program for another ten years. RCV is a convoluted voting method that voters neither like nor want, turning elections into a black box, hurting voter confidence in outcomes in the process. It is our hope that the Utah legislature will remain steadfast in its opposition to extending the Utah RCV pilot program, which has been rejected by half of the municipalities that have opted to use it.”
