“The Arkansas House took a crucial step today to close a legal loophole that allows foreign nationals to influence state ballot issues and constitutional amendments. Far-left Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss has already exploited this gap in our laws to funnel millions of dollars into American politics, and nothing prevents foreign nationals from China, Russia, and Iran from doing the same. That needs to change, and states across the country are passing laws to ban this type of foreign interference. We hope to see the Arkansas Senate bring this to the floor and swiftly pass it.”
