“Citizens deserve elections that are free from foreign influence. Unfortunately, a loophole in state and federal law has allowed foreign nationals to contribute to ballot issue campaigns. Missouri lawmakers are right to give voters the opportunity to protect the ballot issue process from foreign influence themselves.”
