“Today, the Michigan House advanced two key measures through committee that will significantly enhance election integrity. The first would ban the foreign funding of ballot issue campaigns, a problem that has plagued Michigan more than any other state. The second would ensure that foreign money is not being funneled into election administration through ‘Zuckbucks’-style private election funding schemes.
“Michiganders deserve to know their elections are free of foreign interference. Honest Elections Project Action urges the Michigan House to take up both of these important pieces of legislation and send them to the Senate.”
