Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:
“Today, I was honored to provide verbal testimony to the Indiana Senate Elections Committee in support of Indiana Senate Bill 12, prohibiting the use of ranked-choice voting in elections. Ranked-choice voting is a convoluted system that makes it harder to vote and turns elections into a black box, which damages public trust in outcomes. Indiana has an opportunity to be the 18th state to ban ranked-choice voting to ensure it remains easy to vote and hard to cheat in Indiana.”
