Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, provided the following statement:
“Elections should be accountable to the people, which is why private, moneyed interests should play no role whatsoever in their administration. But the group behind the “Zuck Bucks” scheme in 2020 has already found a way around the laws Missouri and other states to ban this private influence. That is why Honest Elections Project Action was proud to be represented by its Vice President, Chad Ennis, today in the Missouri Senate to support legislation to ban Zuck Bucks 2.0. We urge the Senate to pass this legislation and protect the integrity of Missouri elections.”
