Honest Elections Project Action Praises Indiana for Becoming 18th State to Ban Ranked-Choice Voting

Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:

Congratulations to Indiana lawmakers and Governor Braun for making Indiana the 18th state to ban ranked-choice voting, ensuring it remains easy to vote and hard to cheat in the Hoosier state. Ranked-choice voting makes it harder to vote, discourages voter participation, and damages public trust in election outcomes. Honest Elections Project Action applauds Secretary of State Diego Morales, the Indiana legislature, and Governor Braun for working swiftly to protect elections for the people of Indiana.”
