Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project, released the following statement:
“New Hampshirites deserve to know that elections in their state are free from foreign influence. That’s why the New Hampshire legislature must act now to protect ballot measures from foreign-tied spending designed to interfere with the democratic process.
“It was an honor to submit testimony warning New Hampshire lawmakers about this problem. Honest Elections Project Action urges legislators to further strengthen SB534 and get the bill across the finish line to ban foreign funding in New Hampshire elections once and for all.”
