Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, provided the following statement:
“There is nothing more fundamental to election integrity than asking voters to prove that they are who they say they are. Ohio lawmakers have worked hard to bring strong voter ID laws to the Buckeye State. Now, they have the chance to make them permanent by enshrining voter ID in the Ohio Constitution. I urge the Ohio legislature to pass SJR 10 and give the people the chance to protect voter ID by voting this November to place it in Ohio’s constitution.”
