“Arizona legislators continue to pass common-sense legislation increasing the integrity of their elections. HB 2237 further strengthens Arizona’s elections by prohibiting same-day registration, significantly decreasing the chances of election fraud. With same-day registration, election officials do not have the time to verify voters’ eligibility properly. I applaud Arizona lawmakers in their continual efforts to improve elections by ensuring it is easy to vote and hard to cheat in Arizona, and I urge Governor Ducey to sign this bill immediately.”
