“Congratulations to the Kansas State House for passing a constitutional amendment to ban noncitizen voting. Liberal cities like New York City and Washington, D.C. have recently allowed noncitizens to vote in local elections – a serious concern for election security. Kansas lawmakers are right to nip this trend in the bud by pushing to preemptively ban noncitizen voting. Honest Elections Project Action now urges the Kansas Senate to follow suit and send this to the ballot so Kansans can ban noncitizen voting.”
