Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:
“Congratulations to the Louisiana legislature for passing a bill to ban ranked-choice voting (RCV). RCV makes it harder to vote, turns elections into a black box, damaging voter confidence in the process, and even disenfranchises voters among other things. We strongly encourage Governor Landry to sign this bill into law to make Louisiana the 10th state to ban RCV nationwide.”
