Honest Elections Project Action Applauds Ohio for Becoming 19th State to Ban Ranked-Choice Voting

Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:

“Today, by signing SB 63 into law, Governor DeWine makes Ohio the 19th state to ban ranked-choice voting in elections. Ranked-choice voting is a convoluted scheme that voters do not like and do not want, which disenfranchises voters and destroys trust in elections. Honest Elections Project Action thanks Senator Theresa Gavarone for her leadership on this critical issue, and applauds Ohio lawmakers and Governor Mike DeWine for continuing to ensure it is easy to vote and hard to cheat in Ohio.”
