“Congratulations to Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose for taking the necessary steps to keep noncitizens off the voter rolls in Ohio. Nobody should have his or her vote canceled out by a noncitizen casting an illegal vote. This episode shows why Congress should pass legislation like the SAVE Act to make it easier to stop noncitizens before they can register and vote. Until Washington acts, Ohio is showing what states can and must do to boost voter confidence by stopping fraud and noncitizen voting.”
