Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:
“Honest Elections Project Action applauds the Utah House of Representatives for passing legislation to end Utah’s ranked-choice voting pilot program. RCV is a convoluted process that makes voting harder, disenfranchises voters, and sows doubt and distrust in elections. Unsurprisingly, half of the local election offices in Utah that once opted to try RCV have since abandoned it. We encourage the Senate to take up and pass this legislation to protect Utah’s elections from the ranked-choice voting scam.”
