Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:
“Ranked-choice voting is a complicated scheme that turns elections into a black box, discourages voters, and makes it harder to vote. This is why 17 states have already banned ranked-choice voting, and Indiana should be the eighteenth. I applaud the Indiana House Elections and Apportionment Committee for advancing SB12, a bill to ban ranked-choice voting. I urge the House to swiftly pass this bill and ensure that ranked-choice voting never taints an election in Indiana.”
