Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:
“The Buckeye State is now one step away from becoming the 19th state to ban the convoluted scheme of ranked-choice voting. Ranked-choice voting discourages voter participation and creates confusion in the voting process, damaging the public’s trust in election outcomes. Honest Elections Project Action applauds the Ohio House for passing SB 63. With the bill headed to a conference committee, we call on lawmakers to finish the job and send this critical measure to Governor DeWine for his signature.”
