“Ranked-choice voting is a convoluted scheme that creates confusion in the voting process, discourages voter participation, and damages the public’s trust in election outcomes. Honest Elections Project Action applauds Ohio legislators for passing SB 63, particularly Senator Gavarone for her leadership in shepherding this bill through the legislature. I urge Governor DeWine to sign this critical bill to make Ohio the 19th state to ban ranked-choice voting.”
