“Requiring ballots be received by Election Day is a commonsense, popular policy that enhances election integrity. Thanks to Ohio lawmakers and the leadership of Senator Gavarone, Ohio is poised to join the 34 states that already require ballots to be received by Election Day. SB 293 also includes crucial reforms to ensure only citizens are on Ohio’s voter rolls. I urge Governor DeWine to sign this bill and keep Ohio on the leading edge of election reforms that make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.”
