Honest Elections Project Action Reacts to Disappointing North Carolina Supreme Court Ruling

Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Election Project Action:

“In an activist ruling, Democrats on the North Carolina Supreme Court struck down a 2018 law requiring residents to show a photo ID when voting in person. The Democratic Justices rushed this case so they could strike down the state’s voter ID law before the people of North Carolina had a chance to elect a Republican court majority. Overturning voter ID is part of the left’s nationwide anti-democracy agenda. Fortunately, there will be a new court next year and lawmakers will have the opportunity to restore their voter ID law. That would bolster the integrity of the election system, honor the will of North Carolina voters, and make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.”
