Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:
“Voter ID is a common sense and popular policy. Enshrining voter ID in the constitution is the right thing to do to effectively promote public trust in election outcomes and prevent illegal voting.
“I am proud to submit written testimony before the Ohio House General Government Committee in support of SJR 10. I urge lawmakers to swiftly pass this measure and put it on the ballot this November so the people can ensure that you always have to show ID to vote in Ohio.”
