Honest Elections Project Action Urges Maine Legislature to Reject Ranked Choice Voting for Gubernatorial Elections

Jason Snead, Executive Director of Honest Elections Project Action, released the following statement:

“Honest Elections Project Action urges Maine lawmakers to reject expanding ranked choice voting (RCV) to gubernatorial elections. RCV is a confusing, convoluted process that sows distrust among the electorate and can even disenfranchise voters. Legislatures should be banning RCV, not expanding it. Mainers should urge their state legislators to protect clear and simple elections by opposing the unwise expansion of RCV.”
